Challenge 

Migrating to Shopify required a flexible new testing solution to drive site performance

From science-backed supplements to scalp treatments, every Scale product is designed to transform how people look and feel. So, to reach as many shoppers as possible, the company created a custom testing solution to optimize their self-hosted websites. But when Scale migrated their stores to Shopify, running these precise experiments became increasingly complex.

“With our previous custom tech stack, we could tweak our sites’ code to see what customers preferred and what drove more profitability,” says Amanda Siegel, Director of Ecommerce. “But Shopify has its own rules and systems that we couldn’t override.”

These outcomes encouraged Amanda to roll out similar tests across their entire portfolio of health and wellness brands.
